A man asked me recently, a little teasingly: tell me why I should spoil you. I did not need to think about it. Here is what I answered:
"Because you enjoy it 馃敟 it turns you on to make your woman's life better and give her means to be continuously prettier for you and be stress-free so that she can always be positive for you, available, ready and willing to be your sex toy to play with 馃グ"
He loved it. And the more I think about it, the more I believe that answer says everything.
Generosity is a pleasure
The men I connect with do not experience spoiling a woman as a cost. They experience it as a pleasure, one of the most masculine there is. They love knowing that their generosity changes a life: that she sleeps well, eats well, takes care of her body and her beauty, and never has to worry. There is a quiet pride in that, and it feels wonderful.
It all comes back to you
A woman who is free from stress glows. She is warm, playful, present. She has time to prepare for you, to choose the dress, the perfume, the lingerie you love. She is thinking about you before you even arrive. Everything you give comes back to you as attention, care and pleasure.
A circle that feeds you both
You give, I blossom, and you get to enjoy the woman I become because of you. Then you want to give again, and I want to delight you again. It is the most natural thing in the world between a generous man and a grateful woman.
Something to try
- Think of the last time you gave something and felt proud of it. Notice what the pleasure felt like in your body.
- Read: The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman. Receiving gifts is one of the five, and so are words of affirmation, quality time, acts of service and physical touch. Which ones speak to you?
- Ask yourself: how do you like a woman to thank you? With words, with a message the next morning, with a touch, with her time, or with a little show just for you?
