The rise of trans desire: what the search data says

According to Pornhub's own yearly review, trans was the second most viewed category in the world in 2025. Desire is changing, and so is acceptance.

Anita Key, The rise of trans desire: what the search data says

Every December, Pornhub publishes its Year in Review, a summary of what people around the world searched for and watched. In its 2025 edition, trans was the second most viewed category in the world, and searches for the transgender category grew by 58 per cent over the year, according to reporting by Star Observer and PinkNews. Searches for "trans threesome" rose by 67 per cent and "trans amateur" by 49 per cent.

What the numbers mean

A word of caution first: these figures come from Pornhub itself, and a company's own review is partly marketing. Independent data might look different. But the direction has been the same for years, and it matches what I see in my own life: more and more men are curious about trans women, and they are proud of their desire.

Desire leads the way

Private desire often moves faster than public opinion. Many men discover their attraction to trans women alone, late at night, long before they ever say it out loud. The numbers show something lovely: they are millions, all around the world.

From screen to real life

There is a difference between watching and living. A screen gives you images. A real evening gives you a woman: her voice, her scent, her laugh, the way she listens to you, the conversation over dinner. If your curiosity started on a screen, it can blossom into something real and beautiful 馃グ
